CO2RE®: Face/ Neck/ Body/ Scars
What is CO2RE®?
CO2RE® by Candela Medical is an ablative fractional laser used for aggressive skin resurfacing.
- It delivers intense heat to vaporize skin cells (unlike non-ablative lasers, which do not destroy skin cells).
- The fractional design targets specific treatment areas, promoting collagen production, tightening skin, and removing damaged or hyperpigmented cells.
- Common uses include treating wrinkles, fine lines, pigmentation irregularities, acne scars, and uneven skin texture/volume.
What Cosmetic Concerns Does CO2RE® Treat?
Fine Lines & Wrinkles
Stimulates collagen production to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
Facial Skin Laxity
Firms and tones loose skin.
Uneven Skin Tone
Eliminates abnormally pigmented cells for an even complexion.
Uneven Skin Texture
Removes damaged/dead cells to refine texture.
Acne Scars
Breaks down scar tissue to encourage healthier cell growth.
How Does the CO2RE® Laser Work?
The laser uses CO2 energy to create microscopic punctures (micro-columns) in the skin, causing controlled damage.
This stimulates the body’s natural healing process to rejuvenate the skin and address concerns like wrinkles, texture, pigmentation, and scars.
The surrounding skin remains intact, ensuring faster healing.
The treatment is customizable for individual concerns, skin types, and desired downtime.
